Happy Birthday to Myself

Ok, so I don't know if it is appropriate to blog about yourself on your own birthday, but that's what I'm doing because I need an excuse to blog. But if it is degrading to wish ones self a Happy Birthday, then go ahead and call this a late Christmas post.

I guess I could outline in detail what sort of presents (Disney and otherwise) that I got, but I don't really feel like bragging. I will, however, say that I received three D23 issues and a trip to the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco from my sister, who I love very much. And no, that was not sucking up, so don't ask me later tonight.

Anyway, I had a few ideas for a Birthday/Christmas post, but I can't really remember what I was going to say. I could finish up my last partially completed post that I never got around to finishing, but that would deal with the lagoon at California Adventure beginning to receive water again, which is now quite old news. I think I'll simply post this video below (which i saw recently and absolutely love) along with a message for you:




GO SEE PRINCESS AND THE FROG.

PERIOD.

JUST GO SEE IT. It is an excellent film, regardless of the return of "true animation" or whatever. The plot is great and the music and characters are wonderful. It kept me guessing for quite a while as to what was going to happen next, and that doesn't happen often anymore. Take the family and spend the 10 bucks a head to go see it on the big screen (of course, straining your neck by sitting in the first five rows like we had to is unnecessary, unless you happen to like that sort of thing).

That's about all I have to say for now, but my sister's always begging for a post from me, so its likely not long until I return.
